1939 Wyandotte, Sophie Tucker ROI-TAN Automobile
Scarce (to find in high grade) pressed steel red sedan automobile featuring a large yellow advertising sign attached to the roof of the car. Originally developed as a countertop promotion for Sophie Tucker's C.B.S. radio show sponsored by ROI-Tan cigars. The ad incorporated the same streamlined art deco auto used by Wyandotte for their No. 501. Two Car Garage playset. Consists of an enameled painted press steel auto with a double sided steel litho roof sign. "An auto a day is given away, A Brand New 1939 Chevrolet". Tires are solid white rubber and all original.
